We are happy to report we have successfully reached the top of Africa! The team set out Dec 19th and we reached the summit at 6:15am on Dec 23rd. 8 of the 10 students reached the top of the mountain at Gilman’s Point, while 1 students, 1 teacher and 2 of the organizers made it all the way to the top of the summit at 5895m/19,340ft! Everyone is happy, healthy and overjoyed with our success and had no major problems along the way.

After an adventurous and strenuous six days of hiking,
through four different climates and over 4095ft/13435ft
vertical feet straight up, our team made it to the top
of Mt Kilimanjaro and back down again! We’re happy to
report our return to the ground in Mosh, just in time
for Christmas! Above you’ll see a photos of all of us
taken at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
