My World's current projects run in Tanzania. Funds are available to send Tanzanian students to all of the 14 National Parks, as well as conservation areas, each of which possesses stark natural beauty and distinct educational opportunities. While Mt. Kilimanjaro presents many lessons in geology, and physics, the Serengeti may prove the best laboratory for discussions of ecoystems, Ngorongoro Crater for conservation, and Gombe Stream National Park affords students the opportunity to see our closest living relatives face to face as they observe Chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Student groups can choose to visit one of the following National Parks depending on proximity and which might be most relevant to their curriculum:

Arusha National Park/ Mt. Meru Gombe Stream
Katavi National Park Mount Kilimanjaro
Kitulo Plateau Mahale Mountains
Lake Manyara Mikumi National Park
Ruaha National Park Rubondo Island
Saadani National Park Serengeti National Park
Tarangire National Park Udzungwa Mountains
Ngorongoro Conservation Area Selous Game Reserve

To enrich the educational experience of these trips My World will partner with local teachers to develop a robust curriculum that will take best advantage of the resources that each park offers. My World will make relevant educational materials available to school groups as they are developed.

For certain students who have demonstrated academic merit and financial need, My World will provide scholarships covering school fees and associated expenses throughout secondary school as long as they maintain good academic performance on school exams and National Exams if applicable.
