Check back for updates as My World continues to increase educational opportunities for Tanzanian students.

We have many more plans for next year. We hope to increase the amount of scholarships that we can provide to individual students. While this year, we funded the education of five students, there is always more need. Many schools are clamoring for the opportunity to participate in one of our trips. We just need your help in reaching our fundraising goals.

December 2007

On December 19, ten students from the Mkombozi Center and local schools will begin their climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. They should summit the highest point in Africa on Christmas eve. an independent filmmaker, Andy Stoll, has volunteered to document this trip. He has brought together friends from four different continents in order to plan this trip and to help in making the movie. This film will document the struggles and triumphs of the children as they participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity.
